How to Mail Your Wedding Flowers to Flowerly Framed

Flowerly Framed is a Maryland based floral preservation studio, serving clients nationwide. If you are located out of the MD-VA-DC area or unable to drop off your flowers at our location, you can mail your flowers to us instead!

FAQ: I would love Flowerly Framed to preserve my special florals but I don’t live in DMV area. Can I ship them to your studio?

Absolutely! Shipping your flowers is quite easy — we will walk you through the entire process to ensure that packing & shipping processes goes smoothly. After you reserve your preservation spot, you will receive Step-by-Step Shipping Instructions where you can find a detailed explanation of the shipping process and learn how to properly care about your bouquet following the event.

We highly recommend that you prepare all of the shipping supplies before your wedding day, or if possible, to assign this task to your family member, friend, or perhaps maid of honor since you will most likely be preoccupied with other things before and after your big day.

A  couple of things to keep in mind:

BOUQUET CARE: Your flowers should be kept in water and safely transferred from the venue to the next location. It is very important to keep the petals dry at all times (only stems should be wet). We also suggest that you re-cut the stems to allow fresh water to penetrate.  Additionally, keep your flowers away from direct sunlight and store them in a cool, dark, dry place.  Pro tip: you can keep them in the fridge!

SHIPPING TIPS: Ideally, you would ship your flowers the morning after your wedding or up to three days after the event. However, for weddings that take place on Saturday, flowers should be mailed first thing Monday morning to avoid possible delays and having flowers out of water for a longer period.

Lastly, consider sending additional flowers or centerpieces as they are often in slightly better shape than the bouquet after the event. Note that the better your florals look fresh, the better they will look preserved!
